Weston House and Studio

Overview

Now under design, this house and studio will occupy an unusual triangular site in Sully, less than half a mile from the coast. The plan is an elongated version of Radiant House, with a half-portal steel frame propped by a structural glass clerestory. The south-facing screen wall will combine real and represented nature – from climbing plants to vastly magnified grass laser-engraved into the slate – and the interior will make extensive use of mineral images.
